Dig Nation is for athletes who are ready to train differently-more focused, more intentional, and more committed to standing out.
Please reach out to us at info@dignationvolleyball.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our coaches are highly qualified and experienced. They hold relevant certifications and have undergone extensive training. All coaches have collegiate-level playing experience and/or collegiate or club-level coaching experience.
There is no commitment required. Athletes can attend clinics on a cadence that works for them and their lives. However, we do recommend consistency in order to properly assess development.
Dig Nation is built for serious volleyball athletes who are committed to improving and standing out-not just participating.
Our program is ideal for athletes who:
Want to separate themselves from the average player
Are motivated to earn more playing time or a starting role
Take feedback seriously and apply it
Are willing to train with focus, intensity, and consistency
This is not a recreational program-it's a development environment for athletes who want results.
It depends on the athlete’s mindset-not just their experience level.
While most of our athletes are experienced players seeking development to help them reach the next level, we also welcome athletes who are:
Early in their development but highly coachable and driven
Willing to learn quickly and train with intention
However, athletes who are:
Just trying volleyball casually
Not ready for structured, high-focus training
…may not get the full benefit of this program.
Yes-this is one of our core focuses.
Dig Nation is an excellent fit for athletes who:
Aspire to play at the collegiate level (especially D1)
Understand that talent alone is not enough
Are ready to train with purpose and accountability
We emphasize:
Position-specific mastery
Game-speed repetition
Consistency under pressure
These are the exact traits college programs look for.
Most team environments focus on:
Team systems
Rotations
Game play
Dig Nation focuses on:
Individual skill development
Position-specific training
High-repetition, small-group instruction
This allows athletes to:
Get significantly more reps
Receive direct, consistent feedback
Improve faster in key skill areas
Athletes are grouped based on:
Position
Skill level
Training readiness
This ensures:
Competitive but productive training sessions
Appropriate challenge level
Maximum development opportunity
Athletes can expect:
High-intensity, focused training
Position-specific drills and repetition
Immediate feedback and correction
A structured, disciplined environment
Every session is designed to translate directly to game performance.
We expect athletes to:
Arrive prepared and on time
Maintain focus throughout sessions
Be coachable and responsive to feedback
Demonstrate consistent effort
Athletes who commit to this standard will see measurable improvement over time.
Yes-that’s one of our primary goals.
We train athletes to:
Execute skills consistently under pressure
Show confidence and control
Demonstrate strong fundamentals
These are the traits coaches notice immediately during:
School tryouts
Club tryouts
Tournament play
If your athlete:
Wants to improve beyond team practices and open gyms
Is serious about volleyball
Is willing to be challenged
…then they are likely a strong fit.
If you're unsure, we recommend starting with a session and evaluating from there.
Compared to Private Lessons
Private lessons offer individual attention, but often lack:
Game-like reps
Real-time decision-making
Competitive environment
At Dig Nation:
Athletes still receive direct coaching and feedback
But also train in live, game-relevant scenarios
Learn how to execute skills with and against other players
Result: Skills that actually translate to real competition
Compared to Club Clinics or Large Group Training
Traditional clinics often include:
10–20+ athletes
Limited reps
Long wait times
At Dig Nation (small group):
Significantly more touches per session
Constant engagement (no standing around)
Immediate, consistent feedback and correction
Result: Faster development and improved consistency
Why the Small Group Model Works
Our structure allows for:
High-rep development (more meaningful repetitions)
Position-specific focus
Game-speed training with accountability
Athletes benefit from both:
Individual attention
Competitive, realistic training
Bottom Line
Private lessons isolate skills.
Large clinics dilute reps.
Dig Nation’s small group training develops athletes in a way that is both intentional and game-ready.
